The Fresh Collective Brisbane is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Bartender to lead bar operations across our portfolio of premium event venues.
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for delivering exceptional bar service across cocktail events, gala dinners, weddings, corporate functions, and major public events. You will lead by example, support and develop bar teams, and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable hospitality experience.

The Role
As Head Bartender, you will:
- Lead bar operations across a range of premium functions and events.
- Supervise, coach, and support bartenders during service.
- Coordinate bar setup, preparation, replenishment, and pack-down.
- Manage stock levels, ordering requirements, and inventory control.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits to a consistently high standard.
- Ensure compliance with RSA legislation and company service standards.
- Work closely with Event Supervisors and venue management to deliver seamless event execution.
- Maintain exceptional presentation, cleanliness, and operational efficiency at all times.
- Monitor beverage quality, service standards, and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with the training and development of bar staff to build a high-performing team.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Minimum 1â2 years' experience in a Lead Bartender, Senior Bartender, or Bar Supervisor role
- Experience working within functions, events, high-volume venues, or premium hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or training bar staff
- Proven ability to manage stock control and bar operations effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional presentation and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Current Queensland RSA Certificate
- Full Australian working rights
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
